It has been a joy to shift direction in recent years and start my own business, Simpler Life Solutions. I seized the opportunity to become an entrepreneur after a quick succession of life events and transitions created the possibility of turning a dream into reality.
Over the years I navigated the struggles of divorce, single parenthood, the unexpected death of a brother, and the decline and back-to-back passing of both parents. I enjoyed the blessings of a lengthy accounting career, the pursuit of education and personal interests, the successful launch of my two children from college, and a new marriage.
Through my journey I uncovered strengths that enabled me to learn and grow. I became proficient at managing by handling my own household, my children’s busy lives, and my parent’s care, finances and estate. I discovered leadership potential through church involvement, mission projects, and job progression.
Choosing to leave corporate life and start my own company offered an exciting opportunity to reinvent myself. Becoming a professional organizer was a natural fit with my personality and skill set. I have always been detail oriented and able to handle projects by breaking them into manageable steps. I love creating order and enhanced process flow. An artistic ability enables me to find creative solutions. My compassion, patience, and ease with communication contribute to building trust and establishing client relationships.
